This time-limited arrangement allows participants to observe clinical and/or non-clinical staff for educational and developmental purposes, providing valuable insights into the day-to-day operations at People’s Community Clinic.

The Job Shadowing Program is designed for individuals seeking firsthand experience in the healthcare field. Participants can shadow healthcare professionals.

Requirements and Guidelines
Before contacting us for the Job Shadowing Program, please note the following:
- Volunteer, Intern, or Clinical Learners: All students requesting to shadow MUST have volunteered, interned, or completed a clinical rotation at People’s Community Clinic and be in good standing before applying to shadow.
- Minors (15 – 17 years): Minors who have previously volunteered with our organization can only shadow over the winter break or spring break.
- Secure Your Own Employee Sponsor: Participants must secure their own employee sponsor, who must be a current People’s Community Clinic employee.
- Scheduling: Student job shadowing experiences are available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Job shadowing is subject to the department manager’s approval and may be limited due to staff availability or workload.
- Duration: Participants can shadow for up to 8 hours, with a maximum of 3 days annually.
